Once large areas of seabed have been mapped using our multibeam system, we will produce, in collaboration with an external company, fly-through videos of certain locations. For example, it is hoped that once we have finished surveying the Menai Strait, we will be able to generate a video which allows you to travel from Caernarfon to Puffin Island, watching deep pools and canyons (e.g. see the Menai Strait image, of a canyon in the northern end of the Menai Strait) as they pass by.

We are also exploring the possibility of creating seascape views which will allow you to visualise the seafloor from land using a smart phone or smartpad.
